Arrow Bank Holiday Park
This has to be one of the best kept parks in the area. Once you pass the welcome sign and start to pass along the long drive everything is well kept, really well kept. The River Arrow borders the Southern border of the site with benches by the water’s edge. Fishing is available.
The site is split into two main areas. The Touring Park and the Static area. Bothe are equally well kept.
Upon arrival we found that the reception staff were helpful and friendly. Offering advice about the what was happening in the area over the weekend.
The touring park is newly refurbished with many superb fully serviced pitches as well as acres of grass pitches.
The site has a superb dog walking area as well as other walks through the meadow behind.
The toilet block is again and excellent facility and appears to have been recently refurbed.
Eardisland is a little gem of a village. Based around the meandering river Arrow, it is made up of chocolate box cottages, black and white houses as well as a community shop and the local pub.
The local pub, the White Swan is full of local characters’. The food was excellent and the landlord more than hospitable.
The village also gives access to some great walks. A public footpath follows the river North and if you go far enough it will take you to the equally pretty Pembridge.
If you are looking for a great, peaceful getaway which will give access to rural Herefordshire, then this could be the one for you.
