Borlum Farm Caravan and camping Park
I’m not sure how long this place has had a campsite but, where we stayed was brand new.
It is laid out around a central field and all the pitches on the outside are hardstanding.
Every hardstanding pitch appears to have electric as well as water, all are massive compared with most places we have stayed.
There is a drive over drain and really good toilet/showers located in portacabins by the barn.
Horse riding seemed to be a thing on the farm and I’m sure was on offer. Check out their www site for full details.
The village of Drumnadrochit is located on the A82 on the West of Loch Ness. It is home to the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition. We visited this and it offered an interesting insight into the legend that is Nessy.
The village is also home to a couple of pubs and a shop as well as a petrol station.
One word of warning Borlum Farm don’t accept dogs. We booked online and didn’t notice this. Luckily the owner let us on, but was not keen.
