We only spent one night here in Oct 17. However I have to say I was impressed. A great little site that runs down to the Sarthe river with many grass pitches. All the pitches were bordered by hedges offering great privacy. There is a large park area/childrens play area with lots of well kept modern equipment. On arrival the barrier was down and the reception was closed. We called the owner who went out of his way to give us access. The access looks a little tight as you cross the river bridge bu in reality all was fine. A drive over drain, elsan and tap are available free of charge to service you motorhome as long as you are staying on site. There is also a laundry facility and a swimming pool (outdoor) and a couple of tennis courts on site.
The town of Fresnay-Sur-Sarthe offers all you may require in the way of commercewith many bars and shops in the centre. There is also a medieval quarter which is well worth a visit.
We had the dog serviced at the vets on Rue Etienne Nickles in preparation for his return to to the UK. The cost was low for this at €18, plenty of parking at or near the vets for your motorhome.
We stayed here after visiting the LeMans 24 hour circuit and museum an hour or so south of here.
