The Delta del Tebre peninsular is largley given over to the growing of rice. Riumar is right on the end of this small peninsular. The Ebre one of Spain’s major rivers joins the med within 1/2 a mile of Camping L’aube. This is a large fat site with baked ground dust pitches. The pitches are large and a lot have trees giving some shade relief from the sun. The toilet blocks are modern and clean. There is a large pool on site as well as bi
ke hire, a football area and a large play area. The bar is large and more than adequate with the usual Spanish menu. A short walk from the site is the Ebre river where you can take boat trips or for the qualified you can hire your own boat, There are some water front shops and bars by the boat trip moorings. This is the area for twitchers, there were birds of all varieties including flocks of Flamingos. A short walk back the other way were more shops including a small supermarket. Slightly further a field there was a fantastic beach where the main activity seemed to be wind and kite surfing.
