What a lovely place.
This site has plenty of hard standing pitches for the motorhome. I expected to pay a lot more than the £10.35 per night even at this time of year. The toilet blocks are heated, clean and big enough for there to be no possibility of a queue. The lost gardens of Heligan are adjacent with direct access from the site to there car park. You can visit their cafe and shop without paying to enter. There is also a great farm shop just off the Lost Garden car park that sells every thing you may need. There is also a footpath that leads to both the Cornish fishing village of Mevagissy and to the excellent beach at Pentewan Sands. This one is worth checking out. Also great customer service from the lady that greeted us.
Also in this area is St Austell with its supermarkets and the Eden Project, one of the UK’s best tourist attractions.
