We visited this site with friends at Easter 2010. This site is a quiet piece of central Wales that offers first class facilities. The toilet block was newly renovated when we were there and although it is small, what is there is as good as we have seen. The pitches are large and well spaced out. Access to the site is easy and it is only a few metres off the A44. The local woodland behind the site offered unlimited walking and dog exercising opportunities.
The village of New Radnor has a great little pub where we ate on a couple of occasions, there is also a small general store and butchers. Larger shops and a chippy are less than 10 minutes away in Kington. There is a lot to see in the area particularly for the nature lover. Local sites include the Elan Valley, Water Breaks Its Neck Falls, Red kite feeding at Gigrin Farm and the famous book town of Hay on Wye.
When we were there was no facilities for tents, you would need to check if this is still the case.
