Situated on the upper reaches of the Ystwyth River at the western end of the Elan Valley road the location is everything about this beautiful site. There is a one male and one female toilet along with a washing up room and shower room situated behind the farmhouse ( this can be quite a way from the far end of the site). There is an Elsan disposal point as well as a drinking water tap amongst the pitches, with half a dozen hook up points. You wont notice any of this as the location is just simply the best.
The site borders the bubbling Ystwyth River on one side and is surrounded by the towering Welsh mountains, picnic tables and stone built BBQ pits are all along the rivers edge.
The access roads to the site are quite tight; we approached in the motorhome from the Devil’s Bridge direction without any major issues.
If scenery and hill walking are your thing then this wonderful little site is an absolute must.
